About the DHS Preferred Program

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

 

Q. Why does the program exist?

A. We appreciate the loyal customers we have and are looking for ways to reward the many people who purchase from us on a regular basis. This is our way of saying thanks and we appreciate the loyalty.

 

Q. What is the DHS Preferred Program?

A. Our Preferred Program consists of two types of memberships; Silver and Gold. Members have an opportunity to receive discounts and other benefits by paying a small fee up front for Silver Membership. Members may receive greater discounts by purchasing additional products from DHS and achieving Gold status. (See program outline for details).

 

Q. Who is eligible to join?

A. All Retail customers are eligible to join at the Silver Level of membership upon payment of a $30 sign-up fee.

Q. What do I need to do to join?

A. You can order a membership right from our website at www.dhsdiecast.com by choosing product ID PREF2009 (changes annually) or you can call us at 1-800-591-1171 (or 440-816-1882 outside the US).

Q. When can I sign up?

A. New retail customers can sign up at any time. Membership is valid for one year and the anniversary date is determined by the month that the member signs up.

 

Q. How much does this year’s program cost?

A. This year’s membership fee is $30 US.

Q. What will I receive for my Silver Membership?

A. After your payment of the $30 Membership Fee:

  • You will receive a 5% discount on each and every order you place with DHS.
  • Membership Card
  • Periodic “Member Only” specials
  • Access to our Special Preferred Web Section
  • Access to the Custom Limited Edition Model
  • Preview of our Annual Open House (the night before)

 

Q. How do I qualify for a Gold Membership?

A. In order to qualify for the Gold Membership, you must purchase products worth $2500 from the date you sign-up. Once you have $2500 in qualified purchases, DHS will notify you and from that point on you will receive 10% off every order you place with DHS. Qualified purchases will count only during the Preferred Year. Purchases will not roll over into the next Preferred Year.

 

Q. Is there an additional fee for Gold Membership?

A. No.

 

Q. What will I receive for my Gold Membership?

A. After you are notified that you qualify for Gold Membership:

  • You will receive a 10% discount on every order you place with DHS.
  • Membership Card
  • Periodic “Member Only” specials
  • Access to our Special Preferred Web Section
  • Access to the Custom Limited Edition Model
  • Preview of our Annual Open House (the day before)

 

Q. What do you “consider” to be a qualified purchase?

A. Any items ordered shipped and paid for during the Membership Period. Any backordered items will not count unless they come into stock, are paid for and shipped before the membership year expires.

 

Q. When does the membership expire?

A. Membership ends one year from the sign up month. DHS will notify you when it is time to renew your membership.

 

Q. Will I be able to purchase a custom model?

A. Yes, we will introduce the annual custom model at our Open House each July. This model will be available exclusively through DHS Diecast and only a limited quantity will be produced. Preferred Members will have the first opportunity to purchase the custom model and will receive a significant discount. Our other customers will then have the opportunity to purchase the remaining stock (if any) at full retail price.
